Crusade, Again?

A fool & his money may soon be departed, but the bigger fool ignores the lessons of History. (Hephzibah)

You've heard the phrase about History repeating itself. You know: He who ignores History is bound to repeat it. Don't recall just who said that first time, nor who said He who knows the past commands the future.

A few years before September 11 smacked US (UnitedStates) in our biggest apple, I found an historical atlas. While it wasn't quite what I was looking for (and I don't know if what I'm looking for has been published or not) it was an eye opener for me. I had been taught during those wonderful years of classroom that the Crusade era was a senseless slaughter by the Pope's Christians, to make people believe in Jesus. Looking at the pages of the historical atlas where thousands of words are spoken in just a few pictures of maps, I learned another story of the ChristianCrusades.

Yes, civilizations of a few thousand years BC (before Christ, as I learned it) are depicted on the pages of the atlas . The atlas, of course, also includes AD historical maps. (AD is correctly Anno Domini, or incorrectly After Death, in case you want to know.) This atlas declares in bright, vivid color how empires disappeared under the slaughter of Mohammed's followers, fanatics who followed Mohammed's never-peaceful example. (But the maps don't show how the moslems created their god, who is not the God of Abraham, David and Jesus. This is a different Rant).

On the pages of the atlas you can see how the muslems, like a cancer, consumed and controlled huge masses of land and the poor souls under their death-ful terror. Muslims were not, and are not, friendly neighbors. (I shudder to think of those thousands upon thousands of necks mauled with rusty blades, just like they (the moslims) continue to do today.) It was only after the moslem slaughter crusade got too close to Rome that the the Christian Crusades began.

Something you can see in the pages of an historical atlas what textbooks don't spell: how the Christian Crusades reclaimed from the muslems the land of the people the muslems had beheaded & otherwise slaughtered, in the name of their god.

Looking at a current religious map, I'd say it's time for some freedom-loving people to begin to reclaim the land and her people the muslims have overtaken in recent years. My atlas is old enough to depict our world without the malignency of recent muslim law.

Maybe a Crusade is the only way we can continue to see the chins of men and heads of women. Maybe a Crusade is the only way we can remain US. Maybe George Bush's "Crusade" slip back in September 2001 was Freudian. But too many in power in our country don't mind having US in a great big lions' den with we, the people, the muslims' headless free.

(In case you haven't noticed, I'm not sure just how to spell muslem/moslem/muslim etc.)

This Rant was enticed by an email of pictures of the muslems claiming England. Don't know where the pictures live on the internet, but send an email and I'll forward them to you.

aloha!
